Varsity Hockey is looking Green & Gold ahead of World Cup qualifiers

The South African Women’s hockey squad for FIH World Cup qualification in the Open Series Final in Valencia has been announced and it is filled with Varsity Hockey talent.

The tournament takes place from 19-27 June in Valencia, Spain. South Africa are joined by Belarus, Canada, Italy, Spain, Thailand and Wales as all teams aim to secure 2020 World Cup qualification.

19 of the 26 squad members are current or former Varsity Hockey players – testament to the tournament. See highlighted below.
