Head Coach for the TUT Men’s Football team, Bushy Moloi, has joined PSL side Baroka FC, as a first team Assistant Coach and the Head Coach for the Reserve side, which is the MDC team.
Bushy’s responsibility serves as a learning role within the team and to advance his coaching expertise with modern football methodology. He will be with Baroka FC up until June 2019, the end of the 2018/19 PSL season before re-joining TUT.
Under Coach Bushy Moloi’s leadership, TUT won the 2017 USSA Football Club Championship and was also awarded the coach of the tournament. In the same year, the team were runners-up in the Varsity Football competition losing to UP-Tuks in the final. The team redeemed themselves in 2018 winning the Varsity Football title.
Coach Bushy Moloi’s mentorship has been exceptional, having recently produced two players in the PSL, namely Sikhumbuzo Ncube and Vusi Sibiya, who both signed for Baroka FC. He also produced the likes of Themba Ndlovu and King Ndlovu who are plying their trade with Black Leopards FC. Bushy was also recognised by TUT’s Director of Sport and Recreation, Mr Shadrack Nthangeni, at the recent Prestige Sport Awards by awarding him the Special Recognition – Director’s Award.
