On Sunday 2 September two old rivals will do battle when Tuks travel to Stellenbosch to take on the home team, the Maties. Here are seven interesting facts about this clash!

- The last time the teams clashed, the Maties suffered their biggest loss (31 goals) in the competition and conceded their most goals ever (74).
- The only triumph by Maties over Tuks in 2015’s semi-final was also their most famous win in the competition to date. They were the underdogs and won in Pretoria to reach their first and only final.
- Tuks have recorded a bonus point all but once against the Maties for scoring 50 or more goals.
- It will only be the third meeting between the teams in Stellenbosch. On the previous two occasions Maties came within four and three goals of winning the match.
