Varsity Sports ticket sales to the two Varsity Sing semi-finals opened up to the public on Friday. On Thursday night, the final two choirs making up the four semi-finalists for the Cape Town semi-final on 14 September, were confirmed, when NMMU and Rhodes progressed.
UWC, Maties, Rhodes and NMMU will sing-off for a spot in the 2016 Varsity Sing final at the Hugo Lamprecht Auditorium on 14 September. Only two choirs will progress to the live Varsity Sing final, where they will be joined by the two choirs that progress through from the second semi-final, taking place in Johannesburg on 6 September at the Linder Auditorium.
Although the four choirs that will compete in the Johannesburg semi-final have not been confirmed yet, tickets to that semi-final are also on sale.
Tickets are R20 and can be purchased on the Varsity Sports app, which is available for free download on the Google Play and Apple App stores, or by clicking here.
There are a limited number of seats available for each semi-final, which are expected to sell out at speeds that will blow the medulla oblongata out of Emo Adams’ head… again.
So don’t miss out on the opportunity to be a part of the semi-final audience, as history is made in the first season of Varsity Sing!
