This winter doesn’t seem like it will end anytime soon. But the good news is that Varsity Football is back. It’s an opportunity for people to get out of bed and leave their indoor activities for some real action on the pitch. After weeks of holidays, entertainment is back in the form of Varsity Football. Here are five reasons why you can’t afford to miss the start of Varsity Football this Thursday.
The electric atmosphere
There is an electric atmosphere at all Varsity Sports events and Varsity Football is no exception. Who doesn’t want to be a part of a packed crowed? The singing and camaraderie is second to none. The flex, cam down-down cam and the kiss cam – you name it. These are some of the things that draw big crowd on top if the entertaining brand of football.
Hot pizza!
Nothing will keep your body warmer than a few slices of Debonairs Pizza. Keep an eye out for the cheesy stuff at your team’s stadium or get lucky and you could win a box of pizza. There are competitions at the stadiums and winners are often rewarded with boxes of hot pizza.
It’s the perfect study break
Winter isn’t coming; it’s here. While most students are spending their time indoors, studying, cuddling, procrastinating, Varsity Football is the perfect study break. What better opportunity to get out of the house than to get out and watch some quality football? It’s the perfect place to take a few selfies and spice up your Instagram.
Great entertainment
There is plenty of entertainment. You might see your favourite artist performing. Both AKA and Cassper Nyovest have graced Varsity Football pitches. It’s also an opportunity to dance to your favourite tunes with activations such as the Varsity Jive and the Debonairs Pizza Un-Lamba Yourself dance, where you could be rewarded for your moves. When it comes to entertainment, Varsity Football pulls out all the stops.

Who doesn’t want to see themselves on TV? So get down to your local university stadium this Thursday – you can’t lose!
