NWU-Mafikeng to lock horns with log leaders

NWU-Mafikeng will lock horns with log leaders, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), in their next Varsity Football encounter on the 15th August 2016 at NWU-Mafikeng Stadium.

NWU-Mafikeng go into this game after playing to a goalless draw against Pretoria-based University of Pretoria, Tukkies, while TUT drew 1-1 against University of Johannesburg in the fourth round of Varsity Football.

NWU-Mafikeng coach Amos Xabanisa is under no illusion as to the challenge ahead.
“The next game will be a tough one,” said Xabanisa. “TUT has proven thus far that they are a formidable side, hence they are occupying a number one spot in this competition.

“We had a very good game against Tuks despite not winning the game. We wish to continue with the same momentum and attack more in the game against TUT,” added Xabanisa.
Amos Xabanisa also indicated that they need to win this game for their loyal supporters, the NWU Blue Army.

The game between NWU-Mafikeng and TUT will be played on the 15th of August 2016 at NWU-Mafikeng Stadium at 19:00. It will be live on SuperSport 10.
